Outstanding Qardh Loan needed to be paid off... £400,000
Assalamu ‘alaykum warahmatullahi wa barakatuhu
The Masjid is appealing to the community to donate generously for the purchase of No 62 Cazenove Road. The full amount needs to be raised by May 2010. Funds can be donated via lillah, qardh-e-hasana (interest free loan), standing order or direct debit..
Amongst the uses the masjid intends for the properly are:
· Dedicated educational facilities for sisters
· Structured classes and courses
· Further advanced studies for scholars and ustadha’s
· Expansion of the current Madresah
· New advance-studies Madresah for teenagers
· Islamic Library including research library for scholars
These are just some of the services the masjid intends to provide over the coming years.

The funds can easily be raised if 250 people gave £2000 each or; 500 people gave £1000 each or; 1000 people gave £500 each or; 2000 people gave £250 each. These are simply examples of how the money can be raised – any amount is greatly appreciated. If paying a lump sum is too burdensome you can spread it over a year or 2. i.e. if you wish to pay £500 you can set up a standing order for £20 per month for 2 years, or £10 per month for 4 years – making it easy for even youngsters to donate.

Qardha-e-Hasan /Interest free loan A loan can be given to the Masjid for a fixed amount of time. Once that time has elapsed the full amount will be returned to you.
Gif Aid If you are a UK tax payer the Masjid can claim an additional 28% on top of your donation from HMRC. You need to sign a declaration in person in order for the Masjid to claim this. For every £1 you donate the Masjid can reclaim 28p in tax from HMRC making your total donation £1.28p. So if its £100 the Masjid will get £128.
