We enroll children from the age of 5 and above;all applications received will be dealt with on a first come first serve basis. Catchment area and siblings at the Madrasa will also be taken into consideration. It is in your best interest to return this form fully completed to us as soon as possible. We have a limited number of places in each class.
The Madrasa at Masjid-e-Quba is looking for a competent ‘alim and ‘alima to teach at the Madrasa. We are looking for a teacher who possesses good interactive teaching skills and is also proficient in tajwid. After the salat finishes it is sunnah to recite Istigfar 3 times. The reason for this is that obviously during salat we might get thoughts about something else. The Istigfar is there to rectify any shortcoming in our salat.
Translation for "Astagfirallah" is "I seek forgiveness from Allah".
To say Istigfar 3 times after salat is not some cultural tradition but actually from the sunnah of the prophet (peace be upon him)
