A miswak is a major sunnah (practise). The Prophet (May Allah bless him and give him peace) insisted on using it even on his death bed. There are many of virtues of using the siwak. One of the greatest virtue is that we will die with the kalimah on our tongue. We should try to get in the practise of using the siwak at least once a day
