Saturday 6 June
After death the first thing to come out from his estate will be the cost of the burial, shroud etc. Then it would be any outstanding debts he owes anyone after that before it goes to the inheritors it will be if he made any requests. Ever person has the right to make a request eg a portion of his wealth will be given to the masjid, digging of a well etc. up to 1/3 of his wealth. He can not make a request to give extra money to some one who is already as a default an inheritor eg.wife. |

Friday 5 June
Next couple of days we will try to cover the basic points about inheritance. Anything we give away during your lifetime that becomes the other person belonging. If we promised someone that I will give you this after death that does not work as that becomes the ownership of the inheritors. In the Quran a share has been allocated to close relationship e.g. wife, sons, daughter etc. no one can change that, no one can make additional wills for them. Basically you can not allocate more or less to them. We can only make a Will of up to 1/3 for some one who is not automatically an inheritor. |

Thursday 4 June
A very important issue in our community that needs to be addressed is Wills and Inheritance. The first generation immigrant community in this country are now getting old, the second generation are also here. There are so many fights and quarrels in family due to the older generation not making a will and this is one issue we need to think about now. |

Wednesday 20 May
This Hadith is narrated by Imam Baiyhaqi that the Prophet (May Allah bless him and give him peace) said “There are 2 types of people who are never content. One is in pursue of Ilm (Knowledge) and the other in pursue of the world”. The Prophet (May Allah bless him and give him peace) is talking about the nature of the person and the nature of the thing he is pursuing. One is Knowledge. Knowledge is such once you acquire a bit of it you feel the taste and pleasure which will never be quench. You will never be satisfied with the small amount of knowledge. Likewise the World is such a thing once you go into it you would never be satisfied and always yearn for more. |

Monday 18 May
There is a Hadith narrated by Imam Trimidi that the Prophet (May Allah bless him and give him peace) said “Allah hand is with the group” This has a simple meaning. That assistance and help comes when people do things with a group. The other meaning could be in a negative sense, that who ever try’s to break him self from that group of Muslims is deprived of Allah help and assistance. May Allah keep us with the group of Muslims who are constantly helping each other Ameen |

Thursday 14 May
There is a Hadith that is narrated by Imam Bukhari the Prophet (May Allah bless him and give him peace) said “When someone is inflicted by a calamity or difficulty then don’t make a mockery out of that (something to laugh about or be happy) as it is very possible that Allah can grant that person well being and inflict you with that calamity”. Another Hadith of Trimidhi which says that “if somebody made a sin and he has repented from that sin and you constantly remind him of that sin (criticise him for that sin) your death will not come until Allah has you involved in that sin. May Allah protect us all Ameen. |

Class after Magrib 3
A Hadith from Sharmail Trimidi in which the Prophet (Allah bless him and give him peace) said "I don't eat while leaning" there are a number of reasons for this. One explanations is that it could be a emulation of certain civilisation of the past who use to lean or lay down and eat. Another reason from a health perspective is that when you lean you are more relaxed and tend to eat more that goes against the understanding of moderation while eating. Either way it is the Sunnah (practise) of the prophet (Allah bless him and give him peace) not to lean while eating. |
